Karen J. Connors

Karen J. Connors, age 74 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Summit, NJ, January 9, 1942, daughter of the late Russell and Beatrice Gunderson Kreie, Karen had resided in Delaware Township since 1980 and had formerly resided in Readington Township, NJ and in Greenbrook, NJ.

Karen attended Averett University, Danville, VA, and was a homemaker.

She enjoyed gardening and especially loved her cats.

Karen and her husband, James P. Connnors, were married for forty-three years when he died in 2010.

Surviving are a daughter, Tracey Flaherty and her husband, Robert, of Asbury, NJ; a son, Richard M. Connors and his companion, Carolyn, of Delaware Township, NJ; five grandchildren and a sister, Judy Spader of Fort Meyers, FL.

A Celebration of Karen's Life will be held for family and friends, Sunday, July 31. Cremation services and interment in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ, are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
