Karl Adam Karg, age 95 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Thursday, May 11, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Nurnberg, Germany, December 3, 1910, son of the late George and Margarete Keil Karg, he had resided in Clinton Township the past four years, having previously lived in Branchburg, NJ, Union, NJ and Mountainside, NJ.
A Cabinet maker who came to the United States in 1928, Mr. Karg held Foreman jobs in several companies and was a partner in Union Woodworking Co. for twenty years, retiring in 1968.
He was a member of Kane Lodge #55 F. & A.M.; a member of Salaam Temple, Livingston, NJ; a member of Carpenter's Local Union #1342; and a member of Branchburg Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-nine years, Elsa Sann Karg; a daughter, Linda Loss of Franklin Township, NJ; a son, Ronald Karg of Jackson, NJ; eight grandchildren, Elise, Ron, Patricia, Bob, Bill, Steve, Jim and Debbie; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Calvin, Adam, Julia, Alex, Eric, Kyle, Evan, Sam, Allison, Kacey, Isaac, Maria, Danny and Nicholas.
Mr. Karg was predeceased by five siblings, Henry Karg, Gus Karg, Betty Blechmann, Madi Baber and Karl Diehl.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the Chapel at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
