Katherine E. Emery Pinkerton, born August 15, 1918 in Whitehouse, NJ, went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2011.

She was the last surviving child of the late William H. Emery and Sarah (Nellie) E. Rockefeller of Sergeantsville.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Orville Emery, Gladys Holcomb, William Emery, John Emery, Lillian

Hultz, Arthur Emery, Florence Kirk, Edward Emery; grandson Kyle Granzetto, and former husband, Doyle Pinkerton.

A graduate of Flemington High School, she had resided for

many years in Frenchtown where she enjoyed her time as the Girl Scout leader and had a membership in the Frenchtown Ceramics Club before relocating to Raritan Township, NJ.

She was employed for over forty years by RCA Corporation finishing her career at the RCA Sarnoff Institute in Princeton. While there she was involved with development of

control systems for the early space program, for which a US patent was received.

She was a proud member of the D.A. R. She also enjoyed many outside activities including volunteering at the Hunterdon Medical Center, hiking and camping, bowling,

square dancing, card club, and traveling to Europe and the Orient.

Survivors are her children Douglas Pinkerton, Judith Granzetto, Daniel Pinkerton, Arthur Pinkerton, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in the

Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Readington Cemetery, Readington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
