Katherine Summers Denton

Katherine Denton, age 55 years, of Baptistown, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Hillsborough, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, December 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Paul Summers, Sr. and Nina B. Denton of Dillsburg, PA.

She was a graduate of Garden State Academy, Tranquility, NJ, and was a Nursing Assistant for many years, and recently had worked as a cashier at Wawa, Flemington, NJ.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a daughter, Lisa Denton of York Springs, PA; two sons, Jonathan of Devils Lake, ND, and William of Baptistown, NJ; a sister, Yvonne Steinert of Levittown, PA; a brother, Paul Summers, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD; and her longtime companion, Richard Smith of Baptistown, NJ.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 1 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
