Kathleen B. Mccarthy

Kathleen B. McCarthy, age 55 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Monday, May 3, 2004 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ where she had resided for the past six years.

Born December 21, 1948 in Orange, NJ to Mary Bartusewicz McCarthy and the late John B. "Jack" McCarthy, she had resided in Hunterdon County all of her life. For ten years, she resided at the Sergeantsville Group Home, Sergeantsville, NJ.

Ms. McCarthy worked at the Point Breeze Workshop, Point Breeze, NJ for many years. She was a member of The ARC of Hunterdon County and was invloved in the Special Olympics. Additionally, she was a member of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

In addition to her mother of Delaware Township, NJ, she is survived by her sister Janet and husband James Giovannetti of Lake Geneva, WI and two nieces and two nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
