Kathleen E. Morris died peacefully at the age of ninety-five on November 30, 2020.
Born in Philadelphia on November 10, 1925, Kathy graduated from West Philadelphia Catholic Girls’ High, where she played the French horn in the school orchestra.
During the war years, she worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and volunteered as a hostess at the Stage Door Canteen. After the war, she was employed by TWA at Philadelphia’s airport, where she met her husband, William H. Morris, a pilot with Allegheny Airlines. They were married for 64 years.
Ever elegant, Kathy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed singing, traveling, gardening, and summering on both Long Beach Island and Squam Lake, NH.
She is survived by her children, William Morris (married to Judy McCluny), David Morris, Marcia Morris (Martin O’Mara), Susan Cantillon (Tom Cantillon), Francis Morris (Jeanne Morris), Kathleen Elizabeth Marchuk (Mark Marchuk), and Mary Louise Morris (Stephen Payne), as well as by fourteen grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
