Kathryn Lambert Polhemus

Kathryn Lambert Polhemus, age 102 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Flemington, NJ. Born in Lambertville, NJ, May 22, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Artman and Elizabeth Snyder Lambert. A lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, Mrs. Polhemus was a 1932 graduate of Flemington High School and a homemaker. She was the oldest member of Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, and a former Sunday School teacher there. Her husband, Kenneth Polhemus, Sr., died in 1994. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Howard Lambert and James Lambert, and a sister, Beulah Dilts. Surviving are a son, Kenneth Polhemus, Jr., of Ringoes; a daughter, Joyce Polhemus Woltman, of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Magdalen Cronce of Lambertville, NJ, and Shirley Novobilsky of Hopewell, NJ; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2 PM in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
