Katie Haney

Kathryn "Katie" Haney, age 19 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday, July 10, 2015, from a kayak accident on the Delaware River in Delaware Township, NJ.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, March 11, 1996, daughter of Todd Haney of Frenchtown, NJ, and the late Doris Ann Rake, she had resided in Hunterdon County all her life.

A 2013 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, she was employed by QuickChek, Route 31, Ringoes, NJ.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are two sisters, Cassie Haney of Flemington, NJ, and Kelly Haney of Milford, NJ; a brother, .P. J. Angele of Flemington, NJ and her grandfather, Joseph Rake of Whiting, NJ.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 16, 2015, 10:00AM -12 Noon at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton, NJ.
