Kenneth G. McNally, age 61 years, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Easton Hospital in Easton, PA.

Born March 31, 1955, in Somerville, NJ, Kenny was the son of the late Kenneth R. and Theresa (Kotalic) McNally. He grew up in Branchburg, NJ before moving to Washington (Warren County), NJ and then to Phillipsburg, NJ. He attended Somerville High School and graduated from Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School.

A true handyman, Kenny had a talent in working with his hands and he was often described as being able to “make anything.” He was an auto mechanic, worked on heating/air conditioning systems, as well as a talented carpenter. Kenny was a 19-year member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 254 (formerly, Local 455). He later operated his own carpentry business in the area. In 2009, Kenny built a beautiful outdoor Grotto and Stations of the Cross for the 101 Foundation, Inc. located in Warren County along with many other projects. Kenny enjoyed skiing and loved NASCAR. He enjoyed his annual RV road trips with his former wife, Ellen, to many NASCAR racing venues on the East Coast.

Kenny had a heart of gold, enjoyed helping others, and loved his family.

In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his sister, Patricia McNally in 1971, his brother, John McNally in 2012, and his great niece, Angelina Tomas, in 2015. He is survived by his four step children, Niki Peters, Sasha Peters, Kyle Peters, and Michael Gaetano. He is also survived by his stepmother, Jean McNally of West Caldwell, NJ, six sisters, Susan & Bob Brosius of Bridgewater, NJ, Theresa and Dave Ericson of Readington, NJ, Mary and Rich Luongo of Annandale, NJ, Carol Burch of Reisterstown, MD, Terri and Mark Crowell of Clayton, NC, and Ellen and Todd Smith of Milford, NJ; three brothers, Jeff and Charlene McNally of Raritan, NJ, Tom and Tricia McNally of Branchburg, NJ and Dave and Janet Burch of San Francisco, CA.; his sister-in-law, Joedy McNally of Frenchtown, NJ; his thirteen nieces, four nephews, one great nephew, one great niece, and his good friend through thick and thin, Chris Bosch.

Memorial services, officiated by Rev. Daniel Troutman, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
