Kenneth M. Schlesier, Sr., PhD, age 64 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at his residence.

Born in Newark, NJ, January 26, 1943, son of the late Kenneth and Ruth Franke Schlesier, he had resided in Delaware Township the past thirty years.

Kenneth was a 1965 graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology and received his PhD in Devise Physics at Princeton University.

He was a receipent of RCA Laboratory achievement awards for working on MOS Dielectrics and design of state retention RAM. He was the author and co-author of many patents. His most recent employment was as a Professor of Electronics at DeVry University, North Brunswick, NJ.

Kenneth enjoyed music and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Flemington, NJ where he assisted with the Sunday School as well as acting as an usher.

Surviving are his wife of fourty years, Carolyn Ruff Schlesier; three sons, Kenneth M. Schlesier, Jr. of Delaware Township, NJ, Peter J. Schlesier of Raritan Township, NJ and Luke C. Schlesier of Delaware Township, NJ; and a sister, Barbara White of Trumbull, CT.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There are no calling hours and interment will be private.
