Kenneth Robertson Parry

Kenneth Robertson Parry, also known by his closest friends as Barnaby Penn, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the age of 80. He was born in Knoxville, TN on October 30, 1943.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Winifred Jean (Dobles) Parry, father, Kenneth Revell Parry, mother-in-law, Elsie Bass Luboff and nephew, Spencer Kenneth Braun Parry.

A bold and beautiful life has come to an end. He was a true hero to his brother, always guiding and encouraging. He was a high school scholar and a prominent member of the Central High School Band. He acted in many plays at the Carousel Theater during his time at the University of Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with high honors, he served two years in the United States Navy.

Ken then headed to New York City where he obtained his master’s in theater. He pursued his acting career for many years and later in life he worked for Bristol Myers Squibb in their travel department, where he made many lasting friendships. Ken and his husband Jerry have traveled extensively all over the world.

Ken is survived by his husband, Gerald Luboff; brother Pete Parry, Sr. (Carol); brother-in-law, Phillip Luboff (Anne-Marie); niece, Laura Parry Scraggs (Scott); nephews: Peter Parry, Jr., Douglas Earl, Nicholas Earl, Pierre Morris Luboff; great nieces and nephew, Addie Scraggs, Cole Scraggs, and Skyla Earl; and several cousins. In addition, Ken also leaves behind many friends from countries all over the world.

Life celebration services will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Initial cremation services and arrangements were under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
