Kevin Lee Power, age 48 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ from the effects of Multiple Sclerosis.
Born in Newark, NJ, July 29, 1958, he was the son of Ann Scaff Power of Clinton Borough, NJ and the late William Power, who died in 1993. He resided in Nutley, NJ until 1968 when he moved to Raritan Township.
A 1976 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Raritan Township, NJ, he went on to attend Mercer County Community College. A Farmer and Plant Nurseryman on the Family Farm, he also worked at other Nurseries throughout Hunterdon County.
A member of the American Dairy Goat Association, Mr. Power raised, showed and judged dairy goats. He was also active in the Hunterdon County 4-H.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two brothers and sisters-in-law, James Power and Shelia Sweeney of Raritan Township, NJ and William and Dorothy Power of Lehighton, PA.
Memorial Services will be held on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Sky Manor Road, Alexandria Township, NJ (www.stthomasepc.org). Interment will be private.
