Konstant "Sunny" Rzeczkowski, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Goshen, NY, November 3, 1935, son of the late Konstanty and Helen (Jankowski) Rzeczkowski, he had resided in Raritan Township for the past four years, having formerly lived in Fair Lawn, Jackson, and Jersey City, NJ.
A veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Rzeczkowski was a Construction Superintendent for many years. Sunny enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his brothers and son. He loved animals, especially his canine friends, Buster, who was his childhood pet and the best dog in the world ever, Oscar, who was his faithful furry companion in his later years.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-two years, Florence (Krupinski) Rzeczkowski; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Michael Joye of Raritan Township, NJ; a son, James Rzeczkowski of Sterling Forest, NY; three brothers, Robert of Jersey City, NJ, Alfred of Bridgewater, NJ and Stanley of Rutherford, NJ; and a grandson, Shaun Joye of Brooklyn, NY.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
