Laila Stellmah

Laila Stellmah, age 94 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in the Hunterdon Care Center. Born in New York, NY, August 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Hilma Toppari Smuul. Laila was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Stellmah, in 1961; her son, Frank Stellmah, Jr., in 2013; and her daughter, Susan Bishop, in 2019. Surviving are two grandchildren: Laura Hanson of Milford, NJ, and Matthew Bishop of Somerville, NJ; and her two great-grandchildren: Kathryn and David Hanson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Burial will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
