Laura Amy Krivoshik

Laura Amy Krivoshik, age 16 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at her home after a long battle with complications from Rett Syndrome.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, September 12, 1993, she was the daughter of David Peter and Cindy Sousa Krivoshik of East Amwell Township.

Laura attended the Midland School, Branchburg, NJ, and belonged to the Arc of Hunterdon County, the Heads Up Special Riders, Kingston, NJ, and the International Rett Syndrome Association.

Laura was of the Russian Orthodox faith.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are three sisters, Dawn Hartman of Washington, NJ, Paula Krivoshik of Bridgewater, VA, and Danielle Krivoshik of East Amwell Township, NJ; a brother, Peter Krivoshik of East Amwell Township, NJ; her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth E. (Baba) Krivoshik of Elizabeth, NJ; her maternal grandmother, Margaret Sousa of Pennsburg, PA; her niece and nephew, Ashley and Jacob Hartman; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her paternal grandfather, Peter Enoch Krivoshik and her uncle, Paul Sousa.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
