Laura Higgins

Laura Higgins, age 99 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, February 10, 2005 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, July 27, 1905, daughter of the late William and Annie Miller Worthington, she had resided in Raritan Township and Flemington Boro all her life.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling. Mrs. Higgins was a member of the Flemington Baptist Church and the Flemington-Raritan Senior Citizens.

Her husband, William N. Higgins, died in 1967 and a son, Robert Higgins, died in 2000. Surviving are a grandson, Barry Higgins of Frenchtown, NJ and two great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 1-2 p.m. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
