Lawrence A. Walck, age 45 years, of Alexandria Township NJ, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Stratton, VT from injuries sustained in a toboggan accident.
Born in Livingston NJ, July 10, 1968, son of Theresa Crea Walck or Pittstown NJ and the late Lawrence Walck, he had resided in the Pittstown area since 1997, and formerly resided in Greenbrook NJ for 23 years and later in Flemington NJ.
He was Director of Business Development for Mack Molding, Arlington, VT. Larry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was a member of the Alexandria Township Parks and Recreation Committee. Larry was involved as a baseball coach with the Delaware Valley Athletic Association and served two years as a Board member for the Delaware Valley Junior Lacrosse program. Larry was a loving father, friend, uncle, and coach; he played ice hockey with the men’s hockey league at Aspen Ice, loved baseball, music, skiing, photography and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Rebinski Walck; a son, Christian Walck, and a daughter, Justina Walck, both at home; his mother; and all his nieces and nephews, whom he loved so much, as well as his family, who loved him and will greatly miss him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Old Allerton Road, Annandale NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm from Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.
