Lawrence Emery Kirk

Lawrence Emery Kirk, age 61 years, of Lebanon Township, NJ, died on Saturday, December 26, 2009 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born December 17, 1948, son of the late Joseph H. and Florence Emery Kirk, he had resided in Lebanon Township for the past two years, having formerly lived in Glen Gardner, NJ and Holland Township, NJ.

An attendee of the Amwell Church of the Brethren, Lawrence was formerly employed as a mechanic at BMW, Lebanon, NJ, then later worked in the nursing field at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a sister, Kathleen Manes.

Surviving are two brothers, Calvin A. Kirk of Frenchtown, NJ and Norman J. Kirk of Estes Park, CO; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will take place Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Amwell Church of the Brethren, 40 Sandbrook-Headquarters Road, Stockton, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Lower Amwell Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Church.
