Lawrence W. Ricca

Lawrence W. Ricca, age 79 years, of Allentown, NJ passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, under Serenity Hospice Care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Hamilton, Hamilton, NJ.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ on March 24, 1942, he was the son of the late Lawrence A. and Dorothy Grace Ricca. He had previously resided in Ringoes and Stockton, NJ before moving to Allentown in 2011.

He was formerly employed in the Building Maintenance Department for Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick, NJ until his retirement at age 55.

Larry was a world traveler and avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. In fact, he journeyed to Africa, South America, China, and Russia on hunting excursions as well as the Florida Keys to Tarpon fish.

He was a member of the Amwell Valley Conservancy, Nassau Gun Club, Leash Club of New York, Amwell Valley Hounds, and the Philadelphia Gun Club (of which he was past president).

Additionally, over the course of his life he enjoyed the company of many pets, including his Labrador Retrievers, horses, and cats.

Surviving is his beloved wife of fifty-four years, Carolyn (Carol) M. Ricca, of Allentown, NJ, who was always by his side.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 11:00 AM-12 Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Immediately following the calling hour, we will proceed to Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ for the graveside committal service and burial.
