Leah Kondas Zambek

Leah Kondas Zambek, age 89 years, of Bloomsbury, NJ (Greenwich Township) died Friday, May 20, 2005 at her residence.

Born in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, May 9, 1916, she had formerly resided in Baptistown, NJ before moving to Bloomsbury in 1996.

A homemaker, she was a member of Calvary Brethren Church, Croton, NJ. Her first husband, Vincent Kondas, died in 1977, her second husband, Henry Zambek, died in 2001 and a son, William Kondas, died in 2003.

Surviving are a daughter, Pearl Kondas of Bloomsbury, NJ; three sons, Vincent Kondas of Bath, PA, Stanley Kondas of Bethlehem, PA and James Kondas of Taylorsville, NC; a sister, Pearl Hernbaker of Pittstown, NJ; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
