Lee A. Woodruff, age 82 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Los Angeles, CA, December 31, 1928, daughter of the late Horace Allen, she had formerly resided in Tallahassee, Fl prior to moving to the Flemington area.
Mrs. Woodruff received a BA in English from Immaculata College, PA, and was a Tallahassee Democrat reporter that covered the Ted Bundy Murder Case in, Tallahassee, FL. She was the Administrative Secretary at the Franklin Township Municipal Building and freelanced political articles throughout her career.
Her husband Anthony Daniel Festa died in 1989. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jim Reid of Ringoes, NJ; a grandson, Jason Reid of Leland, MS, and a granddaughter, Jenna Reid of Ringoes, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held in Philadelphia, PA at a later date to be announced under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
