Leon Baton

Leon Baton, age 102 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Hamilton Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, July 4, 1914, he was the son of the late Leopold and Louise Harding Baton. He had formerly resided in North Arlington and Lake Hopatcong, NJ.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rich Vavrence, of Raritan Township, NJ; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
