Leon Milman, age 80 years, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in the Boca Raton Community Hospital, Boca Raton, FL.
Born in Poland, June 16, 1925, he was the son of the late Samuel and Dora Steinberg Milman.
Mr. Milman was a United States Army veteran of World War II and was formerly the owner of the Bel Air Motel, Raritan Township, NJ.
He served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Hunterdon Medical Center and was a former member of the Flemington Rotary Club.
Additionally, Mr. Milman was a member of American Legion Post #159, Flemington, NJ, and of the Flemington Jewish Community Center.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Birnbaum Milman; two daughters, Helene Willis, of San Diego, CA, and Marion Levine, of North Potomac, MD; a sister, Miriam Gelpar, of White Meadow Lake, NJ; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in the Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
