Leon Zelinsky, Jr. of Clinton died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at home. He was 50.
Born in Raritan Township on June 13, 1963, he was the son of Leon and Victoria Baldwin Zelinsky. From 1958 to 1972 they owned and operated the Bel-Air Motel, now the Ramada Inn, in Raritan Township.
Leon lived in Flemington for many years, then in Ringoes before moving to Clinton several years ago.
He worked most recently at the Philadelphia Pretzel Factory store in Raritan Township. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Annandale.
He was an avid fan of both the band Kiss and the Dallas Cowboys football team.
Survivors include his stepdaughter, Chrissy Marion Davis of Phillipsburg; three aunts, Betsy Peterson and Patricia Wright of Raritan Township and Mary Baldwin of Flemington; and three cousins, Jackie Peterson of Raritan Township, Cindy Giordano of Flemington and Liz Wright of Washington, DC.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. The calling period will be Sunday 1-2 p.m. Interment will be private.
