Leroy M. Smith

LeRoy M. Smith, age 90 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at his home.

Born in Delaware Township, NJ, April 17, 1920, he was the son of the late Isaac and Cora Suydam Smith. He was a lifelong resident of Delaware Township.

A 1938 graduate of Flemington High School, he was formerly employed by the Flemington Auction Market for twenty-seven years, and was later a bus driver for Delaware Township School.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-six years, Hazel Blodgett Smith; a son, Donald LeRoy Smith of Easton, PA; two daughters, Brenda J. Stewart of Flemington, NJ and Judy Lee Floyd of Sergeantsville, NJ; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10-11 AM in the funeral home.
