Lillian G. Maiorano

Lillian G. Maiorano, 88, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022, at her home at Ann's Choice Retirement Community, Warminster, PA. Born in East Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Lillian (Stevens) Higginbotham and John Higginbotham.

Graduating from East Orange High school in 1952, Lillian married her sweetheart, the late Vincent J. Maiorano in 1954 after his service in the Korean Conflict. She was devoted to her family and loved holiday celebrations, taking many photographs when the entire family would get together. She cherished summer vacations with her children and grandchildren at Ortley Beach and later Wildwood, NJ. Later in life, Lillian became interested in her genealogy and spent many hours tracing her ancestry.

Lillian is survived by her three children, daughters Deborah Maiorano Smith and her husband, Grant, of Perkasie, PA, and Diane Parisi and her husband, Anthony, of Franklin Park, NJ, and her son, Vincent Maiorano, and his wife, Sandra, of Clayton, OH; her five grandchildren, Aaron Cooley, Amy Voupel, Anthony Maiorano, Samantha Maiorano, and Stephanie Maiorano. Lillian is also survived by her beloved seven great-grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Viewing hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Holcombe- Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A service of remembrance will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Friday at the funeral home, immediately followed by interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington NJ.
