Linda L. Zupp

August 13, 1958 — October 9, 2022

Linda Lee Zupp, age 64, died Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township NJ, surrounded by her family.

Born August 13, 1958 in Flemington NJ, Linda was the daughter of the late Aaron and Ruth (Smith) Allegar. She graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School in the Class of 1976, and soon after, met the love of her life, Ralph P. Zupp in 1977. The two were married and raised their family in Flemington, before moving to Washington NJ.

Linda worked as a Pharmacy Tech in the Pharmacy department of Stop & Shop in Flemington for many years.

Linda and Ralph enjoyed taking day trips to Island Beach State Park, strolling the Seaside Heights Boardwalk, taking her daughter and son to places like the Land of Make Believe and Dorney Park. She loved shopping, especially in various malls and local stores.

Some of Linda’s favorite things included anything having to do with stitching with needle, thread, or yarn – projects done by crocheting, knitting and other needlework were completed for family and friends. She loved wearing flip-flops (no matter the time of year!), listening to classic rock from the radio station, WLEV in Allentown, or watching a favorite classic TV show like Matlock, Cagney & Lacey, Columbo, or the Andy Griffith Show. In her spare time, she loved doing puzzles or completing a game of Soduku.

Most of all, she was a sweet, loving, kind person that loved being with her family for special occasions like gift-giving at Christmas and special birthday celebrations – she will be missed by all of those who knew her.

Linda is survived by her husband of more than 40 years, Ralph P. Zupp, her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Ryan Cass of Flemington NJ, her son, Joshua Zupp of Washington NJ, her sister, Deborah Lineman of the Poconos PA, her brother, Stephen Allegar of Easton PA, and her three grandchildren, Andrew Cass, Jacob Adam Zupp and Harmony Grace Nuzum.
