Linda Walker, age 51 years, of Hillsborough, NJ, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ.
Born in Flemington, March 11, 1961, she had resided in Hillsborough since 1999. She was a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, where she was majorette in the school band. She was currently an office manager for Active Imprints, Monmouth Junction, NJ.
A member of the Wednesday Night Bowling League, Linda loved cruising, camping and traveling. She was also a former official at Flemington Speedway and was a scorekeeper for several softball teams. Additionally, she was a longtime member of the Flemington United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of thirty years, Steven Walker; her parents, Arthur A. and Evelyn Berstler Reed of Flemington, NJ; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Matthew Clark of Limestone, TN, and Bonnie and Mark Hanna of Flemington, NJ; her father-in-law, Earl Walker of Hampton, NJ, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Lebanon, NJ.
