Lois (“Lo”) was born in 1932 and grew-up in the Vailsburg section of Newark, NJ, attended West Side High School. She was the daughter of Elsie and John Jennings. After marriage she settled in Scotch Plains, NJ, worked for Ward Ford as NJ’s first women’s car salesperson. She was an avid bridge player and spent her time teaching others at Leisure Village East, her most recent home for 25 years. She enjoyed being close to her childhood summer home in Shore Acres, NJ and her love of the Shore Acres Yacht Club. Lois was an avid NY Mets fan and watched the games daily, always optimistic about the team’s chances.
She will be remembered by her family and friends as always asking about the care of others; deeply passionate about her Catholic faith and teaching her children these values.
