Lois S. Burd

Lois S. Burd, age 82 years, of Stroudsburg, PA, died on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in Slate Belt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Bangor, PA.

Born in Mt. Airy, NJ, April 21, 1927, daughter of the late Frank and Marion Lacombe Snyder, Sr., she had reisded in West Amwell Township, NJ most of her life prior to moving to PA in 1977.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Elmer Burd, Sr., died in 1987.

Surviving are a son, Elmer Burd, Jr. of Stroudsburg, PA; a brother, Frank Snyder, Jr. of Fredricksburg, VA; a sister, Joanne Pickell of Clinton, NJ; two grandchildren; and three great grandschildren.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
