Lorraine H. Anderson

Lorraine H. Anderson, age 72 years, died peacefully with her family surrounding her at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ, on Tuesday, November 25, 2008.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, July 3, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Boyle Hansen. She had formerly resided in Staten Island, NY, moving to Flemington in 1969.

She was a double machine operator at Lipton Tea, Raritan Township, NJ, for over twenty years.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine A. and Gerald Rush of Flemington, NJ; two sons, Albert A. Anderson and his fiancee Karen Crown of Easton, PA, and Richard G. Anderson of Phillipsburg, NJ; two brothers, John Hansen of Nashville, TN, and Robert Hansen of Flemington, NJ; three sisters, Lillian Mason of Charleston, SC, Joan Holmstrom of Englishtown, NJ, and Dorothy Lee of Milwaukee, WI; three grandchildren, Lorraine Neville, Amber Anderson, and Ace Anderson; and one great-grandchild, Aaliyah Alvin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from Noon until time of service in the funeral home.
