Lucia J. Ziemba, age 95 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, October 21, 2013, in Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, August 23, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Susan Miller Zanetti. She was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, residing in Raritan Township for over fifty years.

She was formerly employed by Stangl Pottery, Flemington, NJ, and then was a secretary for JCP&L until retiring.

Lucia was a former communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, and was a charter member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges, NJ.

She was a past president of Flemington Womans Club, a volunteer for the Hunterdon County Red Cross, and also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the Flemington Food Pantry.

Lucia was a 1936 graduate of Flemington High School and attended Rider College.

Her husband, H. Richard Ziemba, died in 1995. She was also pre-deceased by a brother, Leonard Zanetti. Surviving are a daughter, Natalie Whiting of West Amwell Township, NJ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Holly MacKay Ziemba of Flemington, NJ, and Mark and Marcia Ziemba of Yardley, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Bonnie Zanetti of Buckingham, PA; two grandchildren: Shannon Ziemba and Brendt Ziemba; and eleven step grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
