Lucy Ann Mignone

Lucy Ann Mignone, 81, of Belvidere NJ, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Lucy was born in New Haven CT on June 14, 1943, daughter of the late Arduino and Angelina (Carloni) Aniballi. She was the wife of 54 years to Nicholas William Mignone. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Anu Mignone of Ringoes, NJ, her two grandchildren, Charlie and Teddy, and her brother, Arduino Aniballi of Branford CT, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lucy was predeceased by her sister, Constance Luchetti.

Lucy grew up on Howard Avenue in New Haven and later settled in Branford, CT. She graduated from the former St. Mary’s High School and Southern Connecticut State University, and was employed by the Yale Law School for many years, retiring as the Deputy Director of Career Development. In her later years, she enjoyed volunteering at elementary schools and libraries, reading, cooking, solving jigsaw puzzles, and being close to her grandchildren.
