Lucy M. Brusco

Lucy M. Brusco, age 92 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Thursday, August 4, 2011, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in the Bronx, NY, February 21, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Tufo Maddalena. She was a lifelong resident of Flemington.

She worked as a volunteer for the Flemington Public Health Department, then in the Business Office of the Hunterdon Medical Center, and then for twenty-two years as the assistant to the Tax Assessor in Raritan Township.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Anthony Brusco, and a son, Mario Louis Brusco. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Melanie B. and Walter J. Loughlin of Raritan Township, NJ; two grandchildren: Matthew Louis Brusco and Kathleen Brusco, both of Ewing, NJ; two great-grandchildren: Matthew and Nicholas Brusco; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 9-10:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Graveside Services and interment in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ will follow immediately after the calling hours.
