Lynn R. Bowers

Lynn Rhoda Bowers, age 55 years, of West Amwell Township, NJ, died Thursday, March 18, 2004 at her residence.

Born March 27, 1948 in Park Crest, PA to the late Joseph and Edith Schrope Petusky, she lived in West Amwell Township since 1997, previously residing in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Ms. Bowers was a mother, a homemaker and a craftswoman. She was a lover of nature, a friend to all animals, and a person who believed in local community and friendship above all else.

She is survived by a daughter, Tara A. Bowers of Hardwick, NJ; a son, Justin A. Bowers of Flemington, NJ; four brothers, Ronald J. Pierce of Philadelphia, PA, Neil J. Petusky of Blue Bell, PA, Rell G. Petusky of Niles, OH and Kerry S. Petusky of Fletcher, NC; a sister, Chloe P. Coger of Brevard, NC; and her former husband, Gary Bowers of Woodbury, CT. Another brother, Miles N. Petusky, died in 2002.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ (please call or visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information). Friends and relatives may call from 12 noon till time of service.
