Mackenzie Wright, age 7 years, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at her home in Delaware Township, NJ.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, November 21, 2002, she was the daughter of Mark and Tracy Jackson-Strober Wright.

Mackenzie was a first grader at the Delaware Township School where she liked science and reading. She was very artistic and had formerly attended the Flemington Presbyterian Nursery School. She loved animals and liked to travel. She enjoyed swimming, horseback riding, and riding her four wheeler. She was a member of Brownie Troop #254, and was an avid New York Yankees fan and earned the nickname "Iron Arm".

Her paternal grandmother, Sheila Griffin, died in 2009. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a brother, Carter Wright; her maternal grandparents, Mike and Diane Strober of Delaware Township, NJ, John and Jeanne Liwacz of Trenton, NJ, and Cindy Strober of Whitehouse, NJ; her paternal grandfather, John Griffin, of Bethlehem, PA; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.
