Madelyn M. Alessandrini

Madelyn M. Alessandrini, age 72 years, of Manchester, NJ, formerly of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Leisure Chateau Care Center, Lakewood, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, September 24, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline McCarron Maiuro. She was a homemaker and former director of the Flemington Food Pantry. She was a member of the Flemington Woman's Club and the Flemington Book Club. Her husband, David Alessandrini, died in 1999, and a son, John Alessandrini, died in 2011. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy McKibben, of Albuquerque, NM; two sons, James Alessandrini, of Manhattan, NY, and Michael Alessandrini of Doylestown, PA; two sisters, Margaret Smith and Mary Byrnes, both of Manchester, NJ; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
