Manuel Garcia

Manuel Garcia, age 64 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at his residence.

Born in Staten Island, NY, August 5, 1944, son of the late Joseph and Manuela Garcia, he had resided in Alexandria Township for the past thirty-seven years.

A United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Garcia was a retired Computer Engineer from EMC, Parsippany, NJ. Prior to that, he had worked for many years with Amdahl and Fugitsu.

Surviving are his wife of thirty-nine years, Barbara Cousineau Garcia; a daughter, Aimee Garcia of Somerville, NJ; a sister, Anita Kotaski of Pocono Lakes, PA; his mother-in-law, Catherine Cousineau of Ft. Pierce, FL; two sisters-in-law, Rita Garcia of Forked River, NJ and Donna Nickel of Ft. Pierce, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

His brother, Joseph Garcia, died in 1982.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Interment will be private. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
