Marciana A. Galagar

Marciana A. Galagar, age 93 years, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in the Atlantic City Medical Center, Atlantic City, NJ.

Born in Loay, Bohol, Philippines on July 12, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Mendoza Apalisok. She was a public school teacher in the Philippines for over forty years.

Her husband, Pedro Galagar, died in 2006. She was also pre-deceased by a son, Renato Galagar in 1979 as well as a grandson, Apollo Vincent Bagaipo in 2002.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Alfredo A. and Jane Galagar of Orange County, CA; a son, Pedro Galagar, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter, Thelma Galagar of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Ophelia and Domingo Bagaipo of Flemington, NJ; a sister, Soledad Boja in the Philippines; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
