Margaret E. Dietz

Maj. Margaret E. Dietz, US Army (Ret.), died Wednesday, September 9, 2015, in Gloucester, VA. where she had resided over forty years.

Born in Flemington, NJ, June 27, 1932, daughter of the late Henry Dietz, Sr. and Mary McKeon Dietz, she was a graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1950.

Peggy was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War, serving twenty years with the US Army 1951-1971 when she retired with the rank of Major.

Surviving are two nieces and four nephews, Cynthia Quinn, Kimberly Purcell, Ronald Dietz, Joe Zanetti, Mike Dietz, and Tad Dietz.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 10:00AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
