Margaret L. Emery

Margaret L. Emery, age 87 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ, died on Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough Township, NJ.

Born in Somerville, NJ, October 14, 1921, daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Danberry Lake, she had formerly resided in Neshanic Station, NJ, then in Bedford, VA for twenty-five years, before returning to Hillsborough.

Mrs. Emery was formerly a Nurse's Aide at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, NJ and also was employed at one time by Foothill Acres Nursing Home.

She greatly enjoyed needlework, nature and all artistic endeavors.

Her husband Peter S. Emery, died in 2005 and a grandson, Thomas Miller, died earlier.

Surviving are two daughters, Yvonne Baurys of Point Pleasant, NJ, and Patricia Emery of Flemington, NJ; a son, Edward Emery, of Chester, VT; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lorlyn and Irving Covert of Neshanic Station, NJ and Janice Croman of Flemington, NJ; seven grandchildren, Richard, James and Gary Miller, Peter and Jason Polhemus, and Edward and Carrie Emery; thirteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services and Interment will be private in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
