Margaret Norman

Margaret Norman, age 90 years, of Bridgewater, NJ, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in Arbor Glen.

Born in Newark, NJ, April 23, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Springer Struss. She had formerly resided in North Plainfield, NJ and later retired to Point Pleasant, NJ.

She was a retired Executive Secretary and formerly was the assistant to the Mayor of North Plainfield.

Mrs. Norman was former PTO President, Girl Scout Leader and active in Grace Episcopal Church, Plainfield, NJ. She enjoyed singing and loved the beach.

Her husband, Kenneth Norman, died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Janice Gillberg of Raritan Township, NJ; and two grandchildren; Steven Gillberg and Kirsten Gillberg.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
