Margaret Obal-Enevoldsen

Margaret “Peggy” King Obal-Enevoldsen, age 69 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday, September 13, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Columbus, OH, January 21, 1955, daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Jones King, she had formerly resided in Somerville, NJ.

Margaret moved to Somerville, NJ in 1968 and graduated from Somerville High School, Class of 1973. She worked at Somerset Medical Center for fourteen years as a Nursing Office Secretary and then became a Dental Assistant. An animal lover, she was also a volunteer for Hunterdon Hospice, Flemington, NJ.

She is pre-deceased by her brother, Matthew King in 2018, and her sister-in-law, Susan Enevoldsen in 2023.

Surviving are her loving husband of twenty-one years, Glenn H. Enevoldsen; three sons, David August Obal of Quinton, VA, Trevor William Obal and his wife, Mary of High Bridge, NJ, and Stephen Obal of Port Orchard, WA; and three grandchildren, Quinn, Lena, and Kylie; one sister, Mary Ogiba of Hillsborough, NJ; two nephews, Gregory Ogiba and Jeffrey Ogiba; three nieces, Taylore King, Amy and Sara Enevoldsen; one sister-in-law, Rhonda King; two brothers-in-law, Richard Ogiba and John Enevoldsen and his wife Cheryl. She is also survived by her former husband Stephen Obal.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be held privately in the Spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
