Marguerite Whitehead

Marguerite Whitehead, age 79 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Monday, October 27, 2008, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Catasaqua, PA, September 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen Gallagher O'Connell.

She was a former clerical worker with the State of New Jersey, Trenton, NJ.

Surviving are her husband, Russell Whitehead; two sons, Kevin Whitehead and Shawn Whitehead; two daughters; Mary Ellen Lane and Marguerite Cyr; and four grandchildren.

Private Graveside Services will be held in the Brigadier General William Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
