Maria Lettieri

Maria Lettieri, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Lioni, Italy, August 20, 1921, daughter of the late Andrea and Giuseppina Cosentino Nappa, she had resided in Raritan Township for the past twenty-two years, having previously lived in Elmont, NY.

A Homemaker, she was a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, Rocco Lettieri, died in 1984.

Surviving are five children and their spouses, Francesca and Antonio Benvenuto in Italy, Giuseppina and Salvatore Imbriano of Glen Cove, NY, Florence and Enzo Badalamenti of Kingwood Township, NJ, Franco and Joanne Lettieri of West Amwell Township, NJ and Mario and Donna Lettieri of Raritan Township, NJ; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-four great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Hyacinth R.C. Church, 319 Cedar Swamp Road, Glen Head, NY under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
