Maria Shevelev

Maria Shevelev, age 84 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, formerly of Roselle, NJ, died on Friday, September 14, 2012 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, NJ.

Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late August and Josepha Windeler.

She was a retired lab technician with Western Electric, AT &T, and Lucent.

She was a devoted and loving mother and member of the Hunterdon County Seniors Group.

Her husband, Theodore Shevelev, died in 1987. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Richard Busch of Raritan Township, NJ; three sons and daughters-in-law, Manfred and Carol Shevelev of Hamilton Township, NJ, Richard and Rosemarie Shevelev of Waverly, AL, and Michael Shevelev and Debbie Colantuoni of Point Pleasant, NJ; a brother, Hans Windeler, of Germany; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, and her little Max.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
