Marian R. Hawkins

Marian R. Hawkins, age 86 years, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Hunterdon County, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the Wyndham Lakes Assisted Living Facility, Jacksonville, FL.

Born in Bloomsbury, NJ on June 23, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Myrtle (Geddis) Mills. She had resided in the Hunterdon County, NJ area most of her life before moving to Florida to be closer to her son.

After graduating high school, she worked first as a seamstress at Eclipse Mattress Store, Lebanon, NJ, then as a waitress at Daz-O-Del Restaurant, Clinton, NJ, and finally as a cashier at the A&P in Califon, NJ.

She was predeceased by her husband, the late Clifford R. Hawkins, who died in 2015, and her twelve siblings. She was the last surviving of her parents' thirteen children.

Surviving is her son, Greg Hawkins, of Jacksonville, FL.

Interment, next to her late husband, will take place privately in Bloomsbury Cemetery, Route 173, Greenwich Township, NJ. There are no services scheduled.
