Marie A. Nettleton

Marie A. Nettleton, age 91 years, of Belvidere, NJ, died Friday, May 8, 2020, at St. Luke’s-Warren Hospital Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, May 2, 1929, daughter of the late George and Antoinette Boise Penkoske, Marie had formerly resided in Milford, DE, Bridgeville, DE and Hopewell, NJ and had resided in Belvidere for the past twenty-one years. Marie was a former insurance adjuster for Mercer Mutual Insurance Co. of Pennington, NJ. Marie was active with the Singles Luncheon Group of Belvidere, enjoyed solitaire, crossword puzzles and feeding wildlife. She also volunteered for many years with the Miller-Keystone Blood Bank of North Jersey and Northeastern Pennsylvania. Her husband, John W. Nettleton, died in 2000. Marie is survived by her son, John A. Nettleton of Hamilton, NJ; and two nieces and two nephews, Evelyn Lucas, Nenette Thompson, George Glady and Sam Glasscock. Graveside services in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ, will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
