Marie Lamendola

Marie Lamendola, age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, June 25, 2004 at her residence.

Born in Newark, NJ, February 17, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Trum Weibel. She had resided in Raritan Township, NJ since 1964, having previously resided in Flemington, NJ.

She was employed by RCA, Bridgewater, NJ, and by the Flemington Fur Company, Flemington, NJ, retiring in 1958. She was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, and was once a member of its' Altar Society.

Her husband, Emanuel, died in 1979. She is survived by two sons: Raymond Lamendola, of Tewksbury Township, NJ, and Dennis Lamendola, of Bethel, CT; a brother, Herbert Weibel, of Hamptonville, NC; a sister, Edna Simon, of Hellertown, PA; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
