Marilyn D. Van Stone

Marilyn D. Van Stone, age 76 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2010, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Allentown, PA, October 3, 1933, she had formerly resided in New Providence, NJ, moving to Raritan Township in 2002.

She was a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, and was formerly a Communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church, New Providence, NJ.

She was formerly employed by C.R. Bards Pharmaceutical Company, New Providence, NJ and then was a Human Resources Manager for Summit Bank, retiring in 1995.

Surviving are her husband, John R. Van Stone; a daughter, Beth Carfagno of Flemington, NJ; her mother, Elizabeth McGough of Grand Rapids, MI; a sister, Joanne Livingston of Grand Rapids, MI; and three granddaughters, Katie, Julia, and Sara Carfagno of Flemington, NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
